About the Series
The ALX Guest Speaker Series: The Art of Being Unreasonable showcases mavericks – leaders who broke away from convention and took the road less travelled. We will be featuring inspiring trailblazers whose paths were fuelled by courage, resilience, and passion.
What does it mean to be an unreasonable leader? What does the pursuit of excellence entail? How does one endure tribulation with grit and courage? What sacrifices must be made to be a successful entrepreneur?
Join us for intimate conversations with prominent leaders from various industries as they discuss what it means to be unreasonable.
Zibusiso’s entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 17 years old back in 2000 when he started his first business, Csonke, a web design company. Following the merger of Csonke with Krazyboyz in 2007, he served as Executive Chairman until July 2010, after which he took on the role of CEO until December 2011.
In January 2012, Zibusiso co-founded Avatar, South Africa’s largest black owned and managed integrated agency, winner of the Financial Mail AdFocus 2016 Medium Sized Agency of the Year.
He is currently the Group CEO of M&N Brands, an investment holding company he recently founded with his business partner Veli Ngubane. M&N is a black-owned Advertising Network for entrepreneurs who are shaping brands, transforming South Africa and building the African Continent.
